Feb

1st – Teddy was a bundle of fun and cuddles today, so hard to say goodbye to him.
2nd – Day out with Rachel in Westfield and long walks to Hyde Park and Notting Hill (plus some wig trying on).
3rd – 15 years after first seeing them live I finally get to see M5 play the Superbowl half time show
4th – After bootcamp and yoga in zero degrees in the park I decided to do a 20 minute brutal HIIT ladder. Not the best photo but I felt amazing after!
5th – Today I managed to do a beginners wheel in yoga and also HIIT. Feeling great and hoping to improve on my form over time.
6th – My number arrived today for the Bournemouth Bay Half Marathon 😁 I’m half scared and half unbelievably excited!
7th – Watched the London Royals take on the Bristol Flyers. 10 minutes walk from my flat and had an amazing time, win win!
8th – Another Atkinson, I’ve been wanting to read this for months and I finally bought it in the sale! 💪
9th – First parkrun of the year and first Crystal Palace parkrun. Boy it was hilly but we chatted and laughed our way around the course and didn’t stop!
10th – Spontaneous trip to the theatre with Rhonda. 60s music and strictly dancing for £4, can’t go wrong!
11th – A difficult day today but it’s amazing how something as simple as a watermelon ice lolly can transport you back to happier times and put a smile on your face.
12th – This time Rhonda and Andre came to cheer on the Royals in the cup semi finals with me. 7 games unbeaten now, such a rush!
13th – 6k hill run at lunch, taking in Crystal Palace Park and the dinosaurs in the winter sun.
14th – Came home to find a very thoughtful and funny card from one of my work friends.
15th – Actually had a lot of fun at the conference today, who knew a work conference could be enjoyable?

16th – Spontaneous little trip to Ikea after parkrun with Rhonda.

17th – Watching the Royals smash their way into the BBL trophy finals on the BBC 🏀❤
18th – Lounge is really beginning to feel like home now.
19th – Kettlebells and smiles on a Tuesday night. Only 10 minutes but feels great.
20th – 5k hill run in the sunshine today, I just love these dino dudes 🦕
21st – Little sunset stroll looking down on the city.
22nd – Spent some time at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disibility planning fundraising events and volunteering. Made me feel like I’m doing something worthwhile ❤
23rd – Super happy to run another Crystal Palace Parkrun PB. Those hills are a killer but love the endorphin rush after and feeling stronger day by day.
24th – Another beautiful sunny day. Bootcamp, yoga and a lovely long walk followed by good food. Don’t want this weekend to end.
25th – Adventure planning with Mark in Stanford’s, very excited for my first ever proper adventure.
26th – Got a 5k PB today, ran past where my assault happened and felt empowered instead of distressed.
27th – They say this is the last day of our early summer. 20 degrees in February isn’t bad so went for a lovely walk in Streatham.
28th – After a busy day at work it feels amazing to be tucked up in bed in front of the tv.
